ABOUT US
The South Carolina State Conference of the NAACP, established in 1939, is a leading civil rights organization with a proud legacy of advocating for justice and equality. With a robust network of branches, youth councils, and college chapters spanning all 46 counties, the organization is steadfast in its mission to combat systemic injustices, expand educational opportunities, and influence policies that uplift marginalized communities. Through the collective efforts of local chapters, executive members, volunteers, and partners, we drive positive change by fostering community engagement, advocacy, and empowerment across South Carolina.
